- In view of the termination of operations by the outsourcing partner M/s. Alankit Assignments Ltd, for Visa, Passport, OCI, consular services (collectively called CPV services) w.e.f 19.01.2026, all CPV services w.e.f 20.01.2026 will now be directly made available and handled from Consular Section of Consulate General of India, Freidrich Ebert Anlage 26, 60325, Frankfurt am Main
- In the first stage, all applicants are required to complete the application process for their specific consular services as per the guidelines mentioned in the consular section of the website of Consulate General of India, Frankfurt. In the second stage, the applicant is required to book an APPOINTMENT through an online appointment system which has been made available on the Consulate's website
- Monthly appointment slots will be opened on 15th day of every month at 0900 hrs for the entire next month..
(For example, majority appointments for March 2026 will be opened on 15th Feburary 2026 at 0900 hrs.)
Some additional weekly appointment slots will be opened on every Saturday at 0900 hrs for the following week.
(For example, at 0900 hrs on Saturday (28th February 2026) limited appointments will be opened for the next week, i.e 2-7 March 2026) - At a time an applicant can book only one slot. A second appointment by an applicant can be booked only after availing/canceling the already booked appointment. Further, please note that in case the applicant cancels the appointment twice within the same week, he/she shall be blocked from making a fresh appointment for two weeks.
- Applicants are requested to cancel their appointment in case of their inability to appear at the Consulate as per the booked slot. Cancellation is possible until 12 Hrs prior to the date of appointment. Cancelled slot will then be automatically open to other applicants.
- Consulate General of India in Frankfurt has NOT outsourced consular services to any private agency. Any misuse of appointment system by any agency or individual, false claim or pretext of emergency etc. may render the agency and the applicant liable for denial of services subsequently.
- Applicants may note that, currently only cash payment is accepted. Exact amount of fee payment is to be paid at the counter.
- Services to the applicant will be given according to the Service selected by the applicant from the drop-down menu of appointment system at the time of booking appointment. Consulate will not entertain request for granting service other than the ones selected by the applicants.
- Time for submission of applications after taking the appointment is between 0930 to 1230 hrs from Monday to Friday
- In case of lost passports for short-term visitors (not resident of Germany), applicants can walk-in for submitting the application for Emergency Certificate as per the above time slots.
- For collection of documents prior appointment is not required. The time for collection of documents is between 1600-1700 hrs on all working days. Instructions have been given under each service on collection of ready documents/passport/Visa. Collection of more than one document belonging to the same applicant is permissible.
- Applicant must carry his/her passport/ID card, print of the appointment confirmation email, completed application form, and the required documents as per the checklist required for specific consular services at the time of visiting the Consulate.
